Wonderful time in my hotel in Paris

Famous Monuments in Paris
In what follows, I make a list of some of the things that you absolutely must have seen or done during your stay in an Hotel in Paris. I will start with the absolute symbol of the city, a world-renowned building and visited throughout the years by countless people: the Eiffel Tower. Built for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 and the centenary of the French Revolution, this 300 meter high tower is a radical expression of the (then) modern building techniques and ideas about architecture. It is absolutely worth a trip to the top where you can see more than 65 kilometer far on clear days. From my balcony in my last Paris hotel I had an excellent view of the tower and the environment.

One thing you just can't ignore when going on a citytrip and staying in a Parijs hotel is ofcourse the famous Louvre Museum, with approximately 35,000 artworks the absolute top of the museums in the world. Besides the Greek and Roman antiquities you can observe many fascinating Egyptian objects, Renaissance paintings, etc.

Paris' Gothic masterpiece is the cathedral of Notre-Dame, just two blocks away from my last goedkoop hotel in Parijs centrum. Built between 1163 and 1334, but damaged during the French Revolution, the cathedral has been beautifully restored to its original state. The towers are in perfect balance with each other, the rose window is very nice and the western facade of the three portals with rows of saints and carved tympanum is just awesome.

If you want to buy and read a good book from time to time, Paris is absolute heaven. I always read two or three great books while staying in a Paris Hotel Zentrum . The City of Lights is the resting place of many great literary minds, their work can often be found on the shelves of bookshops and charming cafés. In the south, in the Cimetière du Montparnasse, you can enjoy a pleasant walk between the graves of famous writers. Philosophers Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir were buried side by side, and Baudelaire, Beckett and Guy de Maupassant can also be seen under the trees.

Versailles ... If you booked a room in a Paris hotel for more than one or two days, you have enough time to go see Versailles palace. Centuries of make-overs have been in the most luxurious palace in the world. You really need the whole day here. The palace we know today was largely developed during the reign of Louis XIV. In the late eighteenth century, Louis XV added the lush Royal Opera, which today is used for concerts by the Center for Baroque Music.

At the Musée d'Orsay, approximately fifteen minutes walk from my last hôtel à Paris centre, you can discover the work of many Impressionists. Located in a former train station, the collection is in chronological order: 1848 to 1914. On the ground floor you see The Artist's Studio by the landscapes of Courbet and Corot, Daubigny and Millet, forerunners of Impressionism. Here are provocative works such as Manet's Olympia, which paves the way for the liberal paintings by Cezanne, Gauguin and Van Gogh in the upper galleries. Many hoteles en Paris gives you discount tickets to museums like this, don 't forget to ask that when you're there!

Eating and Drinking in the City of Lights

What could be nicer than after a long days walking through the city and enjoy the many delights of Paris, to the in style in one of the many restaurants in town? Needless to say that Paris, the capital of France, houses probably the best restaurants in the world, the richness and diversity of the meals is unprecedented anywhere else in the world. In the lobby of my last hotel Paris centro I found a brochure, which summarized the favorites. There is the Brasserie Mollard in the 8th arrondissement, the Grand Vefour in the 1st and the Bagatelle in the 16th arrondissement. All three of them very, very good restaurants, I wanted to just about everything on their menu! Sometimes the Parijs hotel your stay, has a restaurant itself, I had the privilege many times, after a delicious dinner, just take the elevator to go to sleep, wonderful!

There is food, and there is drinking. One of the best bars in Paris that I had ever been the Bound Bar, on Avenue George V, a stylish place where New York meets Paris. It is a very trendy and popular bar, which is the spiritual home of bon chic bon genre of the city. The young and beautiful, whether they Parisiens or the night in one of the hotels in Paris come here to enjoy the unique atmosphere that feels a bit exclusive, but oh-so right. It is almost my home away from home in the heart of Paris.

Some excellent hotels in Paris

Hotel des Academies et des Arts

Hotel des Academies et des Arts is a picturesque oasis in a quiet street leads to Montparnasse, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg and Place Saint-Sulpice. This outstanding hotel offers luxurious, very nice rooms in an original and stylish design. The perfect starting point for the city to know closely.

Relais Hotel Vieux Paris

When Relais Hotel Vieux Paris find anything. Located near the Seine, Place Saint-Michel, the flower market, Notre-Dame, the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay ... So much to see near the hotel, one of the best I have for all these years.

Hotel Princesse Isabelle

Hotel Princesse Isabelle can be found in the center of Paris-Puteaux -- - La Défense 11, just a few minutes away from the metro station Esplanade de La Defense. This hotel is a great location for both leisure and business travelers.

Hotel Le Pera

Hotel Le Pera is a four star boutique hotel in Paris Opera district , between the Madeleine Vendôme square and the large and famous shopping malls of Lafayette and Printemps Galleries. The hotel offers nice facilities and rooms with a stylish interior that creates beautiful space to relax. Somehow reminded me of my stay in a budget hotels Bruges, mainly due to the landscape, although the hotel was a natural much classier and more expensive.

Other interesting European capitals to go on a citytrip!

Brussels hotels

If you like cultural highlights and shopping, spending time in a luxe hotel in Brussel is absolutely it! Do not forget to check out Galeries Saint Hubert, the proud honor of being the first real shopping mall in the world. There are many typical stores, cafes, bookstores and cozy restaurants and a multiplex cinema in this area. Another alternative outside your hôtel Bruxelles was the Flea Market located in Place du Jeu de Balle, which you can use any variety of different things at rock bottom prices. brussels is also famous for other things: the majestic Grand Place with its unique and beautiful historic buildings, the Atomium, Manneken Pis, European Quarter etc. A weekend or longer in a budget hotels brussels I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Amsterdam hotels

In Amsterdam, busting capital of the Netherlands, you are assured of a very lively stay, this city has much to offer. I think everyone should go at least once in his or her life to a hôtel à Amsterdam to stay in one of the most talked-about cities. The street pattern instance (particularly the canals, along which my last billiges Zentrum Hotel Amsterdam was located) offers enough history, grandeur and fun to talk to just about everyone! Amsterdam offers many interesting museums and some of the best restaurants I have ever been! If you're lucky your luxury hotel Amsterdam also offers a delicious cuisine.

If you are not sure which of the many Amsterdam hotels you want to stay, what the options are, there is a great website and all the best offers: www.bookyourhotel.org and simply browse to your perfect hotel for a wonderful city break in the capital of the Netherlands!

Berlin hotels

Berlin is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Europe's. Many tourists and travelers choose to spend some time in a hotel in Berlijn Experience the beauty of this majestic city. The city also houses a number of famous universities, research institutes, sporting events, orchestras, museums, etc. has Berlin metropolitan landscape and historical heritage made it a popular spot for international films too. It is known for its festivals, diverse architecture, nightlife and contemporary art. And that is why a hôtel à Berlin is more than a dream holiday destination for many. There are several attractions in Berlin, a city whose architecture is often awe-inspiring. There is the famous Rotes Rathaus (town hall), Neptunbrunnen (a fountain with a mythological scene), East Side Gallery (open air exhibition), the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag building, Gendarmenmarkt, Berliner Dom, Potsdamer Platz and many other attractions. In fact, there are so many beautiful things to see that wherever you Hotel Berlin is located, you will always find something interesting in the area. Other attractive places are Kurfurstendamm, Schloss Charlottenburg, Kaiser-Wilhelm Memorial Church and Berlin Radio Tower.

Rome hotels

Rome is also one of my favorite city destinations in Europe like Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, attended by thousands and thousands of people each year. After a wonderful night in your hoteles Roma the most obvious things of course to see the Colosseum, the Vatican with Saint Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, Villa Borghese and Castel Sant 'Angelo. But Rome has some fascinating hidden treasures and you just can not forget to go see while staying at a Rome hotel: Fontanelle in Via Lata, Via Monticello and The Flood Gauge. If you do not like the chaotic transport in Rome, take the electric bus (No. 119), the small size you can navigate through the back alleys and narrow streets of the old ciy, along many of the most interesting sights. I bought my bus ticket for a few euros for the whole day, just outside my last hotel in Rome!
